Fundraising
Individuals suffering from chronic mental illness have very few places to turn for support. Often times, their inability to work and their daily battle with mental illness make meeting simple needs for food and shelter extremely difficult. Without a place to turn, these individuals may become homeless.
Tender Mercies strives to help these individuals discover a second chance at life. By helping individuals take care of their basic needs, Tender Mercies allows residents the opportunity to concentrate on maintaining a medication regime, applying for Social Security benefits, and finding employment. Provided with a home and support, these men and women can rebuild their lives. |
